Getting to play with my friends and trying to beat very good teams.

Stealing bases.

Shooting 3-pointers or playing defense.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

An NBA star or any other professional athlete.

Jahyri Coleman, the son of Starr Leslie and Jahyri Coleman, is making a huge impact on the Terrebonne Parish youth sports scene. Starr Leslie is the older sister of professional basketball player Sumar Leslie and Cal-State Fullerton senior guard Lionheart Leslie. Known as “Jay,” the young guard holds his own in multiple sports and will be in the headlines for years to come.
