Randi Brown

COLLEGE BASKETBALL • UNO GUARD • SOPHOMORE

Name:

Randi Brown

Height:

5’7″

School:

I attend the University of New Orleans.

Grade:

I’m a sophomore – a true sophomore. This is my second year at the college level.

Position:

I am a combination guard. I play anywhere on the perimeter to help my team.

Strengths:

I take pride in being versatile. I like to think that I’m a pretty good passer and a good scorer. I like to try and do as many things as possible to try and help our team win games.

Goals for 2015-16:

We definitely want to make it to the conference tournament this year and hopefully win it. We just have to put in the work in practice and do the little things right.

High point of career:

Randi was the 2015 Southland Conference Freshman of the Year after finishing the 2014-15 season with a bang, leading UNO to four-straight victories.

Favorite player:

Steph Curry

Why?

Why not? He’s the best player in the world. He’s a great person and a good dad, too.

Credentials:

Houma native and UNO sophomore standout Randi Brown is a big-game player. A dominant, two-time All-State winner in high school, Brown has quickly transformed into a threat at the college level – one of the best all-around guards in the Southland Conference. Away from the floor, Brown said she loves UNO because she enjoys living in the city of New Orleans. Brown said she enjoys doing community service projects and wants to be an athletic trainer when she graduates.
