Sports Played: T.J. is the starting tailback for the Houma Christian Warriors football team. With both quickness and power, he is one of the top ball carriers in the Houma-Thibodaux area, and is one of the top all-purpose players in the area, as well.
Signature moment: Helping Houma Christian beat rival Highland Baptist to start the season. The Warriors lost to Highland Baptist by a large margin last season.
Something many people don’t know?
T.J. is also a defensive back when needed. The Warriors list him as both a halfback and a cornerback on their depth chart.
Strengths?
T.J. is a polished runner who does not fear contact when on the field. He is capable of running by defenders, but he also has the ability to power through tacklers if needed to do so in a given game.
What does his coach say?
“He’s a guy that we lean on. He’s a guy that we look to for big plays in our offense. He’s been here a while, and he’s one of our senior leaders. He’s a good player and he gives us a lot of good things, both on and off the field.”

Credentials: T.J. Moore is one heck of a football player. Standing just 5-feet, 6-inches, Moore finds ways to make plays routinely for Houma Christian, despite his small stature. The halfback is one of the top players in the area in both yardage and touchdowns – one of just a few seniors on the Warriors football squad. T.J. said he loves playing for Houma Christian because the whole team feels like family. He said there’s nothing like those Friday night lights.
