SPORTS PLAYED: Austin is a standout basketball player for Thibodaux High School – one of the most athletic, gifted players in the area. He signed with Louisiana Christian after the season.
STATS: Hall averaged 7.5 points per game for Thibodaux this season while helping lead the Tigers to the Class 5A State Playoffs. Hall was one of the top defenders in the area and one of the most athletic players, owning the ability to play well above the rim.
GOALS: “To get myself to become the best player that I can be so I can hopefully sign with a D-I school after my season in Lafayette with Louisiana Christian.”
WORKING ON: “I’m working on every facet of my game – trying to be the absolute best player I can be.”
STRENGTHS: Leaping ability, quickness, shooting.
CREDENTIALS: Austin Hall Jr. is well worth the price of admission, because in any given thing, he is capable of doing things that we don’t often see on the high school level. Hall, a senior, was one of the top players for Thibodaux in 2016-17. For his efforts, he’s earned a spot on Louisiana Christian School’s roster, delaying his collegiate choice one year to help himself in the classroom and also on the court.
