Celebration for our coach: Community to honor Orgeron

Raymond Joseph “Rainbo” DeFelice, 84, a native and resident of Larose, La., died on Monday, February 6, 2017.


Mr. DeFelice was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He is a United States Army veteran and member of the Knights of Columbus. He was involved with the Exxon Retirement Club and a member of the Louisiana Cattlemen Association and Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Vivian Cheramie DeFelice; children, Annette (John) Gavigan, Dane and Stephen (Michele) DeFelice and Ramonda (Robert) Long; brother, Claude (Bonnie) DeFelice; sister, Claudette (Jim) Sanguinetti; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose.
