Richard James “Rickey” Francis, 67, a resident of Berwick, La., died July 6, 2015.
Mr. Francis enjoyed being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing being some of his favorite things to do. He also enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a welder and commercial fisherman for many years. He was involved in the seafood business doing everything from commercial harvest to wholesale and retail.
He is survived by his companion, Mary Riley; children, Jarield Francis and Brandy (Arthur) Guillory; stepson, J.D. Thomas Jr.; brother, Jon (Dianna) Francis; and four grandchildren.
