Rose Bauerle Goolsby, 76, a native of Corder, Mo., and resident of Houma, La., died on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

Ms. Goolsby was a graduate of Mercy Academy in Marshall, Mo., and MacArthur Technical College in Opp, Al. She worked with Village East Rentals for 33 years as an accountant and office manager. She was also involved in many community organizations, such as the American Business Women’s Association, United Ostomy Association, Bayou Civitan and was on the TARC Board of Directors.

She is survived by her children, Deborah (Robert) Lewis, Mike (Cindy) Goolsby, Sandy Davis, Jackie (Nick) Baca and Brenda (Rudy) Naquin; brother, Leo (Betty) Bauerle; sisters, Mary (Wayne) Johnston and Connie (Kenneth) Dierker; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
