Rosella Marie I Bourg Thibodeaux. age 92, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 29. 2018. She was a native of Grand Caillou and a resident of Houma.
Rosella is survived by her son-in-law, Stacy Shane Preston and wife. Annette: grandchildren. Jacob 8. Preston. Jessica P. Bernard and husband. Jay. and Jill M. Thibodeaux step grandchildren. Rita Fields and husband. Eric, Christina Barbo and husband. Charlie. Bridget Toups, Byron Toups and wife, Teresa, and Darrell “Boo” Toups. Jr. and wife. Dawn; great-grandchildren. Alyssa Guidry, and Emma and Layne Ross; many step-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law. Hilda Bourg; brother, Donald Bourg and wife. Kathleen; numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosella was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was the sweetest, most loving and caring person you could possibly meet, and if you did have the pleasure of knowing her, she made sure you knew she loved you. She was a devout Catholic and made sure to express her love for Jesus and the Blessed Mother. She loved the simple things in life, like her Burger King, playing bingo, and reminiscing about her childhood and good times throughout her life. She touched so many lives and will be missed by all that knew her.
