Russell Anthony Portier Sr., a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 1:50 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015.
Mr. Portier is survived by his wife, Corinm Portier; former wife, Patsy Portier; mother-in-law, June LeCompte; children, Buffy (Kevin) Domangue, Chad (Angela) Portier Sr., Jaime (Howard) LeBoeuf, Robbie (Ashley) Portier, Paige (Raymond) McGehee, Gena (Hunter) Trahan, Russel Portier Jr. and Kate Portier; 13 grandchildren; brothers, Ted, Bobby and Steve Portier; and sister, Linda Tauzin.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Chauvin, La. (Chauvin Funeral Home)
