A new establishment opening this week. Andre’s Piano Bar (4647 La I. Raceland) is set to bring live entertainment food, drinks and fun to the people of Raceland and its surrounding communities.
Husband and wife Raphael and Angel Chauvin – owners of Andre’s—have been longtime Cans of piano bars. “So. I thought why not open in that area and buy a baby grand [piano].” said Angel Chauvin That’s something that we don’t have in our community and it would be something nice to bring in our community”
Music is indeed one of the main priorities for Andre’s – which will have its grand opening this Thursday evening. The bar has an impressive entertainment line-up for its opening week. Some noteworthy talents that will be tickling the ivories and entertaining patrons this week include Jim and Angela Trant. David West. Pull Circle and Game of Songs,

Although Andre’s will bring in local big-named musical acts. Angel Chauvin said, the bar will still be welcoming to conversation with family and friends. “It will be a sit down, relaxed at mosphere – where you can visit with family and friends while enjoying some really good music,” she added.
However, the venue does have additional space available for bigger acts so their patrons will have room to dance and cut loose.
In addition to the live entertainment, the bar will have featured drinks and food. Various soups, spinach and buffalo wing dip. specialty fries (styles such as Italian. Mexican, truffle and garlic infused and stuffed potato) and more will be available to order off the menu,
Andre’s Piano Bar – which is named after Angel and Raphael’s son. Andre-will be smoke-free inside the building, with a smoking section outside on the patio, for the comfort of a 11 patrons.
