Terrebonne star excels as prep swimmer

Suzette Marie Johnston, 56, a native of Morgan City, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died at 12:42 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016.
Mrs. Johnston was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church. She was a member of the Red Cross for many years. She was the founder and president of Blue Star Mothers of Louisiana Chapter No. 2.
Mrs. Johnston is survived by her spouse, William M. Johnston III; mother, Patricia Chaisson Kennedy; son, William (Alicia) Johnston IV; daughters, Alicia Ann Johnston, Jessica Lynn (Dewayne) Gregoire; seven brothers; two sisters; and four grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery. Donations in her memory to Blue Star Mothers of Louisiana be made.
