Taylor Turner

Taylor Turner, a retired Army veteran, 88, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015. He is survived by daughters, Genese Turner of Chicago, Ill. and Valerie J. Edwards of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sister, Ruby Lee Shannon, one granddaughter, great niece Piper Griffin, who served as his caregiver and a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Mr. Turner was born in Hazlehurst, Miss, and after retiring from the Army resided in Chicago before moving to New Orleans, where he worked as a chef for many years.
