Vera Weber Cantrelle, 85, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016.
Mrs. Cantrelle loved working in her rose garden and cutting her grass, even in her later years.
She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Englade and Christine (Joe) McDonnell; brother, Warren Weber; sister, Ella Jennamen; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice are appreciated.
