Virginia Jackson Jones, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
Ms. Jones is survived by her daughter, Marcia Sims; brothers, Herbert and Andrew (Deborah) Jackson; sisters, Susana Ross, Corine Stewart, Martha Jackson, Carol Sylvan and Frankie Connely; and two grandchildren.
Burial is at Bisland Cemetery in Bourg.
