FOUR CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER


Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said that an Saturday night Nov. 24, 2018, at approx. 1030pm Terrebonne Parish deputies responded to 208 Oakshire Dr. Houma, La. in reference to a shooting that occurred during a home invasion.

Upon fee deputies’ arrival at the scene, the suspects had already fled in a white in color Chrysler 200 Sedan. This information was relayed to the responding TP90 patrol deputies.

There shortly afterwards, a TPSO deputy spotted the suspect vehicle on East Main St. near Prospect Blvd. and a traffic stop was conducted. Deputies took one female suspect and three male suspects into custody without incident The suspects were transported to the Sheriff’s Office where the investigation continued. The suspect vehicle was towed to a Sheriff’s Office facility.


During this investigation it was learned that the 18 year old man communicated with the female, Ariana Franklin, and she agreed to go to his residence for a visit Franklin later arrived at victim’s residence with three men. Franklin entered the residence where she and the victim had conversation while the three men remained out aide in the vehicle. After a brief conversation Franklin asked the victim if one of the men could enter the residence in order to use the restroom and he agreed Franklin then walked out of the residence as two of the three men entered the residence armed with handguns. The suspects painted the handguns at the victim and demanded money and valuables The victim fought with the two suspects before he ran out of the back door. While running away one of the suspects fired a shot at the victim hut missed him. The suspects stole a Play Station and Play Station games before leaving the residence. All four suspects then entered the suspect vehicle and fled the scene.

After further investigation detectives learned that the suspects planned to rob the victim prior to arriving at the residence. Deputies recovered a ft mm handgun and the victim’s Play Station from inside of the suspects’ vehicle.

At the conclusion of this investigation all four suspects were arrested for Attempted First Degree Murder and Armed Bobbery and remains in the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex

-Arianna Chanel! Franklin, b/t age 17,416 Roselawn St. Houma.

Bond: $75,000.00


-Raquan Joseph, b/m. age 2L 380 Post St Hahnville. La

No Bond

-Wendell Downing, b/m, age 21,255 Trails way Hahnville, La.


No Bond

-Aaron Keith Williams, b/m. age 19, 196 Keller St. Hahnville. La, No Bond

SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN STORAGE UNIT BURGLARIES


Sheriff Jerry Larpenter said that an Tuesday evening, Nov. 27, 2018, Terrebonne Parish deputies responded to West Main St. Mini Storages, 4482 Wes Main St. Gray. La in reference to mini storage burglaries.

During the investigation deputies were able to verify that there were a total of six mini storages burglaries that occurred at this location recently. All of the renters were not available to conduct an inventory of their storage units. There were multiple items stolen such as power tools, stereo equipment speakers etc.

TPSO deputies then received information that the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office had two suspects in custody who were in possession of items that were stolen from these mini storages.


TPSO detectives then reported to Lafourche Parish and continued with this investigation. The two suspects were identified as Steven Glen Acy and Trey Michael Weems. Through this investigation TPSO detectives learned that Acy and Weems are responsible for these six mini storage burglaries Some of the power tools and speaker equipment was recovered.

Steven Glen Acy. w/m. age 26, 102 Olympe Dr. Houma and Trey Michael Weems. w/m. age 25.457 Mozart Dr. Houma are currently incarcerated in the Lafourche Pariah Jail on some unrelated charges.

TPSO have obtained arrest warrants for Acy and Weems for six (6) counts each of simple burglary. They will be transported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex to face these charges upon being released from the Lafourche Parish Jail. This investigation is ongoing and more arrest are subject to follow.
