HONORABLE MENTION: Ellender athlete Davontavean Martin— The Patriots didn’t quite beat Assumption, falling to the Mustangs in the final seconds. But Martin sure was fantastic on Friday night, helping make plays all over the field to keep the Patriots alive on the scoreboard.

BRONZE: Vandebilt quarterback Andrew Robison— It was a very work-manlike performance for Robison on Friday night. The always-explosive quarterback completed 15-of-23 passes for 220 yards in a victory over South Terrebonne – the Terriers’ fifth victory of the season.

SILVER: Thibodaux standout Amik Robertson— The Tigers standout totally blitzed Central Lafourche on Friday, making several explosive plays to power Thibodaux past its in-parish rivals. The Tigers are getting better and better every week and Amik Robertson is the reason why.

GOLD: South Lafourche’s defensive unit— The Tarpons battered Morgan City on Friday night, limiting the Tigers to -1 yard offense for the game. Are you kidding me? To keep an opponent from gaining a single yard for an entire 48-minute game is incredible. That’s a dominant showing.
