Wybra “Uncle Choke” Jacko, 80, a resident of Jeanerette, La., and native of Charenton, La., died on Thursday, July 9, 2015.


Visitation will be held Saturday July 18, at the Jones Funeral Home 1101 Main St., Franklin, La. from 8 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m., with his grandson, the Rev. Kevin Domingo, officiating the services. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Charenton, La.

Mr. Jackowas an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by sons, David and Donald (Patrice) Jacko and Terry (Amanda) Anthony; daughter, Lolita Ashwood; brother, Cephus Jacko; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
