The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office will join local law enforcement agencies around the country in a ‘Click-It or Ticket’ campaign.
Lockport and Thibodaux’s police departments will do the same.
There will also be multiple seatbelt checkpoints in Lafourche, including one tomorrow, another on Sunday and the last on June 2.
During seatbelt checkpoints, deputies will be checking for both seatbelt and safety seat violations, as well as checking vehicles for expired brake tags.
Basketball camp set
The Central Lafourche boys’ basketball program will conduct camps June 8-9 and June 13-16.
The cost will be $60 per camper and drinks and snacks will be available for $1.
