Several girls’ basketball teams are still in the state playoffs, but most of the games were played on Monday night with scores not available at press-time.
But we will have all of the results at HoumaTimes.com.
Visit our website throughout the week for score updates from playoff action around the state.
At press-time, we still had several local teams still alive in the chase to make the Top 28.
In Class 4A, South Lafourche, Ellender and South Terrebonne are still alive.
On the private school side, E.D. White and Vandebilt Catholic are still competing for the Top 28 in Division II.
In Division IV, Houma Chrisitna is the No. 1 seed and is the favorite to make a strong push for the championship, under first-year coach Tammy Martin.
