Alvin P. Hebert, 64, a native and resident of Cut Off, LA., died at 3:07 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2007.

Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. Burial will be in the church cemetery.


He is survived by his wife, Claudette Matherne Hebert; his sons, Ted Paul Hebert and Fred Joseph Hebert; his daughters, Lisa Hebert Danos and Stacy Hebert Galliano; his sister, Alverta Cheramie, and 5 grandchildren, Cody and Jenna Hebert, Cade and Alec Danos, and Aren Galliano.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Early J. and Lucille Dufrene Hebert; his brothers, Clarence, Eroy, and Surgis Hebert, and his sister, Mary Ann Matherne.

He was a parishoner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was an avid reader and watcher of wrestling.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
