John Luther Aston, 76, a native of Mississippi and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, March 28, at 8:50 p.m.
He is survived by his daughters, Jody and Debra Savoie; brothers, Thomas and Hubert Aston; sisters, Trilla Blue, Maxine Bradock, Mattie Nabors, Mary Bergeron, Sue Douthitt and Carolyn Boatwright; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Ethel Singelton Aston; and brothers, William and Buron Aston.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 3 at Samart Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
