Ralph Mitchel Ellender Jr., 72, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014.

He loved to hunt and spend time with his brother and grandchildren. He was retired from Global Industries. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons, Ralph III, Glenn (Melinda) and Jimmie Ellender; daughter, Michele (Brent) Melancon; brother, Michael Ellender; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. (Chauvin)
