A search warrant of a home in Terrebonne yielded more than $50,000 worth of suspect drugs and also the arrests of two suspects.

On Jan. 24, authorities executed a search warrant issued for a home on 252 Cenac St., after investigation showed the probability of illegal narcotic activity taking place at the residence. 


During the search warrant, authorities encountered Eddie Lirette, 43, and Melissa Marie Masingale, 42, both of whom live at the residence.

During the search, authorities said they located and seized countless illegal narcotics, which led to both residents being placed into custody.

According to authorities, they located the following in the search:


-Two partial marijuana cigarettes

-15 and a half Gabapentin pills

-13 capsules of suspected “Molly’s”


-four Hydrocodone pills

-$55 in cash

-a chunk of suspected methamphetamine


-two individual bags of suspected methamphetamine

-a container of suspected methamphetamine

-a bag of suspected heroin


-a bag of marijuana

-a digital scale

Authorities said the total weight of the suspected narcotics totaled about 300 grams, and altogether, the items have an estimated street value of approximately $53,500. 


Both Lirette and Masingale are charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (meth), possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (hydrocodone), possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana), possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (MDMA), possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (Gabapentin), illegal proceeds derived from the sale of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia.
