A Chauvin man is arrested for his alleged role in a fatal hit and run accident that killed Taylor Thibodeaux.

On Jan. 17, Louisiana State Police Troop C received a call from Christopher Little, 47, of Chauvin, stating that he was the driver in the fatal crash, which took place the day before.

Troopers met with Little as hit residence and located a white 2012 Chrysler 300 on the scene with front-end damage that would be consistent with striking a pedestrian.

According to authorities, Thibodeaux was walking on the southbound shoulder of La. Highway 56 when Little lost control of his vehicle and veered off the road, striking him and killing him.

He then fled the scene, according to authorities.

Little is charged with felony hit and run driving and improper lane usage.

He was booked in the Terrebonne Parish Jail.

Troop C says the crash is still under investigation.
