The Houma Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is hosting The civic Pride Workshop for the community of Terrebonne Parish to help turn the page on downtown revitalization.

The free workshop will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Houma Municipal Auditorium from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m and all are encouraged to attend! Host Jeff Siegler with Revitalize, or Die, will discuss the ever-important topic of community revitalization and how we need to start taking pride in our hometown of Houma. Siegler is a spokesperson who visits different communities to assist with revitalization, economic sustainability, and community development. He is passionate about transforming people’s lives by fostering a stronger sense of community and pride.

This workshop comes in perfect timing as a positive momentum has taken course across the community to beautify the area. The workshop begins with an intervention at 9 a.m., followed by a Place of Pride Presentation and a ‘How can we heal?” session. After lunch, the workshop will continue with a discussion on the 5 points of pride, a civic pride campaign group activity, group presentations, and wraps up at 5 p.m. Although the workshop is free, registration is required and can be found here.
