‘Fine-Free Month’ at Lafourche libraries

Owe the Lafourche Parish Public Library money for an overdue book?

Don’t fret. January has been designated “Fine-Free Month.” Library patrons can return overdue items and have any accompanying overdue fines waived.

Also, library staffers are accepting non-perishable food items throughout the month to benefit local food banks. These donations, however, are not required to have overdue fines waived.
