Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet would like to inform the public that starting January 4th, Louisiana Highway 182 between Louisiana Highway 316 and Louisiana Highway 660 will be closed while equipment that was used to help combat nearby marsh fires is removed.

The closure will last from 8 AM to 5 PM on January 4th and may extend into the following day. Motorists should use caution and find alternative routes.

**The only roadway section that will be closed is LA Hwy 182 between LA Hwy 316 and LA Hwy 660. LA Hwy 316, LA Hwy 660, LA Hwy 3087, and Bayou Gardens Blvd Ext all are open for travel as detour routes.

The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government will actively monitor the progress made throughout the day of January 4th to determine if further closure on January 5th will be needed.  The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office will continue to help facilitate managing this roadway closure.

More information will be released as it becomes available.
