The Lafourche Parish Government has announced that Home Elevation grant applications are now being accepted.
Lafourche Parish Government is now accepting applications for Home Elevation grant funds through the Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) program.
Requirements to apply include the following:
- Current Flood Insurance Policy (as of October 1, 2023).
- Two or more flood losses with claims paid by your insurance provider.
If you own your home and meet both of these requirements, please contact Lafourche Parish at 985-446-8427 and ask for assistance from Leah or Kristi. The deadline to apply is December 20, 2023.
