Leadership Terrebonne graduated its largest class to date – 28 local residents – Oct. 25.

The Class of 2007 graduation marks the program’s 15th year.


Speakers at the graduation included Shane Thibodaux, who represented the Class of 2007, Leadership Terrebonne alumni Giezel Stewart (Class of 2006) and Tommy Lyons (Class of 1997), Leadership Terrebonne Alumni Association Chairperson Dr. Joy Tingle (Class of 2003), and program facilitator Jennifer Armand (Class of 1998). Steve Crispino (Class of 2002) served as master of ceremonies.


Graduates include Shelleigh Armstrong, Jason Blanchard, Seth Dodd, Chris Domangue, Christy Duplantis, Liz Eschete, Ellen Fazzio, Mike Ferdinand, Jarret Gros, Daniel Hoychick, David Landry, Andrea Marcel, Tranika Morgan, Amy Neil, Mitzi Nelton, Erica Null, David Ohlmeyer, Trent Oliver, Val Penouilh, Dawn Pierron, Catherine Rein, Louis “Spunky” Routier, Brent Tabor, Shane Thibodeaux, Martha Verdin, Arlanda Willimans, and Vanessa Zeringue.

Leadership Terrebonne is a 10-month program designed to promote the development of community leaders. During monthly day-long sessions, participants gain an understanding of the challenges, opportunities and issues facing the community.

A professional facilitator helps participants learn about featured topics from the decision-makers and agency representatives who are considered local experts.
