Neurologist Jamie Bourgeois Huddleston, M.D., is returning to Raceland to join Ochsner St. Anne General Hospital’s surgical staff.

Born and raised in Raceland, Bourgeois Huddleston is a graduate of Central Lafourche High School. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Nicholls State University. The cum laude graduate earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed a neurology residency at Tulane University Hospital and Clinic. At Tulane, she served as neurology chief resident in 2006-07.


Bourgeois Huddleston is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Southern Medical Association.

In her practice, Bourgeois Huddleston will provide basic neurology care treating headaches, neck and back pain, neuropathy, seizures, and patients with Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and stroke care to adults and, on a case-by-case basis, to pediatric patients ages 12 to 17. In addition, she will offer neurophysiologic studies (EMG/EEG) as well as Botox for certain neurological conditions.

“I have worked for the past 12 years with the intention to return and serve the community that I love. It’s certainly a dream come true to be home again with family, friends, and the great Ochsner St. Anne staff,” Bourgeois Huddleston said.
