Five Thibodaux businesses are sporting a new outside look courtesy of the Thibodaux Main Street, Inc., Façade Grant Program. The program helps building owners and commercial tenants improve the appearance of their businesses. “Restoration of individual facades improves the visual appearance of the entire downtown and is expected to capitalize on a greater sense of community and more economic development within our downtown area,” said Mary Charles Caillouet. Funding for the program is provided through the Lorio Foundation. The recipients of façade grants are Sugar Boutique (pictured), 516 W. 2nd St.; Nick Musso Shoes, 516 W. 2nd St.; Rush Fashion Boutique, 505 W. 3rd St.; and Queeny’s Boutique, 407 W. 4th St. Thibodaux Main Street, Inc., and the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. administer the program.
