February 2, 2012The Bayou Industrial Group continues to accept reservations and sponsors for its 2012 BIG Banquet, to be held March 7 at the Nicholls State University Cotillion Ballroom in Thibodaux.
Phyllis Taylor, chairwoman and CEO of Taylor Energy, a New Orleans-based independent oil and gas exploration company, will be the banquet’s keynote speaker.
The Abbeville, La., native ranked No. 297 on Forbes magazine’s The 400 Richest Americans 2007 list and No. 618 on The World’s Billionaires 2007 list with an estimated net worth of $1.6 billion.
Taylor sold the company’s offshore assets to Korea National Oil Corp. and Samsung Corp. in 2008.
Reservations and payment for the banquet are due March 2. One spot costs $60, and a table for eight can be reserved for $480.
