Pollution training set for today

Lafourche Parish Government is hosting two stormwater pollution prevention training sessions today.

Training is open to the public, but it is especially recommended for builders, contractors, engineers and architects, LPG spokesman Brennan Matherne said.

Admission is free.

The first session will last from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Galliano branch of the Lafourche Parish Public Library.

The second session will run from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Nicholls State University Colonel Club Room, the football stadium, in Thibodaux.
