Terrebonne libraries adjust hours for Carnival

The Terrebonne Parish Library System is operating on shorter hours through Feb. 20 to accommodate local Carnival celebrations.

Assistant Director Amy Whipple announced that, beginning this Friday, the modified schedule will go into effect. Branches will close at:

• 5 p.m. on Fridays, Feb. 9 and Feb. 16;

• 5 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 10 and Feb. 17;

• 5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 19.

The Terrebonne Parish Main Library, located at 151 Civic Center Blvd., will be open on parade Sundays from 2 to 6 p.m. And all parish libraries will be closed on Fat Tuesday, Feb. 20.
