Agnes “Sabrina” Morgan, 55, a native of New Orleans, LA. and resident of Houma, LA., died Saturday, March 17, 2007.


Visitation will be from 10 to 12 p.m. funeral time Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at St. Lucy Catholic Church in Houma. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Mausoleum.


She is survived by her daughter, Twinkle Morgan-McDonad “Robert”; her son, Lloyd Kahlil Morgan; her brothers, Lloyd A. Morgan “Diane”, Gerald Morgan “Kim”, Esq, and Karl Morgan “Marcia”; her sisters, Dr. Veronica Morgan-Lee “George”, Bernadette Morgan-Travis and Angela Robinson “Naaman”; and her granddaughter, Morgan Kathryn McDonald.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd P. and Juanita W. Morgan; her maternal grandparents, Thomas Jefferson Welton Sr. and Willie Ann Williams Welton; her paternal grandparents, Ben Morgan Sr. and Laura Celestine-Morgan; and her brother, Gerard Morgan.


Agnes attended St. Lucy’s Elementary School and Vandebilt Catholic High School in Houma, LA.

She graduated from Xavier University of New Orleans in 1974 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology and drama.

For 5 years she served as Director of Total Community Action in New Orleans, LA. and also taught acting classes throughout various summer programs at Dumas Auditorium in Houma, LA. She dedicated herself to helping young adults develop and build self-confidence and encourge creative expression.

For over 25 years she worked with the State of Louisiana Office of Family Services helping people to overcome problems and make their lives better.

Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
