Alcee V. “Blackie” Curole, 82, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Friday, January 18, 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Vesta Chiasson Curole; two sons, Curtis V. Curole and Clark J. Curole; two brothers, Nolan Curole and Guy Curol; two sisters, Emelida C. Breaux and Pearl C. Broussard; three grandchildren, Courtney E. Curole, Candi L. Curole and Lanie R. Curole; and three great-grandchildren, Bethany E. Collins, Nathan J. Bourg and Reese A. Prevost.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rene V. Curole and Constance Griffin Curole; four brothers, Hector, Rene Jr., Lester and Earl Curole; and three sisters, Mildred G. Knight, Earline Curole and Hilda C. Landry.
He was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.
He was buried at the Holy Savior Catholic Church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
