November 16, 2012Bennet Brown Sr., 73, a native of New Iberia, La., and resident of Jeanerette, La., died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012.
He is survived by his sons, Benny Jr. (Debra), Wallard and Elery Brown; daughters, Lilly and Beverly Brown; sister, Florence Brown; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mamie Brown; and wife, Gloriadette Brown.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Jones Funeral Home in Jeanerette with services to follow. (Jones)
