Betty Bettencourt Mhoon, 74, a native of San Antonio, Tx., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 1:06 a.m. Monday, August 11.
She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Bergeron and husband Bart; two brothers, Sonny and Charles; two sisters, Ruth and Judy; two grandchildren, Zachery and Ariel Bergeron; and her special friends, Angie Dupre, Julie Pearce, Faith Boudloche and Hayley Pearce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Mhoon; her parents, John and Judith Bettencourt; one brother, Joe; and one sister, Dorothy.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, August 14, and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, August 15, at Samart Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at Rogers Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
