Bobby “Bobcat” Dickerson Sr., 49, a native of White Castle, La., and a resident of Gonzales, La., died in Gonzales Thursday, July 24.
He is survived by his former wife, Angela Dickerson of White Castle; one daughter, Tamarian Dickerson of Baton Rouge, La.; one son, Bobby L. Dickerson Jr. of White Castle; one brother, Arthur Dickerson Sr. and wife Faye of Baton Rouge; four sisters, Mary D. Jones, Jacklin and Melvina Dickerson, all of White Castle, and Sheila D. Owens of Oakland, Ca.; one granddaughter; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Consuelo B. Dickerson; his parents, Freddie Sr. and Albertha P. Dickerson; five brothers, Joseph, Freddie Jr., Vinnieross, Robert Dickson and Mckinley Chaney.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at St. Paul Baptist Church in White Castle followed by a religious service. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
