Clarice Galliano Gisclair, 85, a native and resident of Galliano, La. died Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 11:00am.
She is survived by her husband, Rosemond Joseph Gisclair; two sons, Durby and Curtis Gisclair; two daughters, Wynn G. Rouse and Hazel G. Pere; one brother, Horace Galliano; five sisters, Sally Armentor, Angelina Danos, Henrietta Oster, Doris Hagen, and Joyce Fullilove; eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, and twin great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pierre and Selma Ledet Galliano; three brothers, Bud, Smiley, and Earnest Galliano; two sisters, Rena Galliano and Nancy G. Surles.
Clarice was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. She was an avid cook and loved to fish. She was a member of the Ladies Alter Society.
Visitation is Thursday, June 21, 2007 from 6:00pm until 10:00pm and Friday, June 22, 2007 from 9:00am until 12:30pm at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La. The funeral will follow at 1:00pm at S. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Galliano. She will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
