Mr. McCorkel was a self-employed cabinet maker. He attended Stave Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Susan McCorkel; sons, Cleveland III (Chantel), Chad (Jamie), Casey (Debra) and Clint “CoCoa” (Kelli) McCorkel; daughter, Candy (Tim) Wilson; brothers, Calvin and James McCorkel; sisters, Ann Trotter, Cookie, McCorkel and Maggie Galliano; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at the First Baptist Church of Houma, La. (Lathan in Jackson)
