Corinne Eschette, 76, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 1:48 a.m.
She is survived by one son, Gregory Eschette and wife Nellie; one daughter, Amy Bethancourt; four sisters, Lillian Mayet, Grace Delaune, Dora Champagne and Jean Theriot; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Nolan Eschette; parents, Joseph and Sondia Candies Rome; and four brothers, Willie Rome, Richard Rome, Harold Rome and George Rome.
She was Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at Holy Savior Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
