Dennis J. Collins Sr., 68, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Thursday, April 10.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Lafont Collins; sons, Dennis Jr. and wife Mary, Drew and wife Kristine and Greg Collins; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Rose C. Collins; brother, Nerby Collins; and sister, Nermy “Mim” Terrebonne.
He was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed fishing, camping and cooking for his family. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 13 and 8 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Monday, April 14, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Golden Meadow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
