Doris B. Richard, 85, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died Wednesday, March 20, 2013.
She is survived by her husband, Emile Richard; daughters, Margaret Andras, JoAnn Dennis, Connie and Nora Hymel and Becky Crochet; son, Kent Barrilleaux; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Elvina Barrilleaux; brothers, Alvin, Medric and Murphy Barrilleaux; sisters, Ouida Vicknair, Lelia Adams, Edna Barrilleaux and Ludia Arcement; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
