Dudley Howard “Moose” Arnold, 91, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died Monday, April 12, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Arnold was once employed at Moisant Airport with CAA. He started his own marine tugboat business, Marine Towing Corp., and was part owner of Rayco Shipyard in Houma. He was a Navy veteran and in his heart he was an avid boater, hunter and fisherman.


He is survived by his wife, Verdie Trahan Arnold; sons, Chuck and Henry Arnold; daughter, Elouise Chiasson; step-children, Cheyrl Stout and Kirk Bradberry; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and many others that he took under his wings and reared.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice St. Joseph of Thibodaux, 103 Ridgefield Road, Thibodaux, La., 70301, are preferred.

He is buried at Davidson Cemetery in Killian.
