Early “White” Sevin, 89, a native and resident of Cut Off, La. died Monday, June 4, 2007 at 6:07am.

He is survived by his wife Blanche Raymond Sevin; one daughter, Margaret Sevin Strausbaugh and her husband Winfield “Winnie” Strausbaugh; and one grandson Jonathan Crouch.


He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Alcidia Adams Sevin; his twin brother, Percy; three brothers, Urban, Nichollas, and Eves, Sr.; one sister, Agatha Sevin Bruce.

Early was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, La. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served his country during World War II. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time in his garden.

He is buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
