Edith R. Cunningham

Edith R. Cunningham, 93, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012.

Mrs. Cunningham was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.

She is survived by her brother, Valcour Rodrigue; sisters, Ida Toups, Judy Johnson, Patsy Bourgeois and Joyce Rodrigue; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and numerous stepchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Orice Punch Sr.; second husband, Willis Cunningham; parents, Alcide and Annie Rodrigue; sons, Orice Jr. and Melvin Punch; daughters, Annie Folse and Beverly Punch; brothers, Warren, Walter, Alcide Jr., Clifton, Murphy and Richard Rodrigue; and sisters, Dorothy Loupe, Doris Rodrigue and Anna Richoux.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, and 8 to 9:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport with burial to follow at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose. (Falgout)
