Houma museum takes flight with new display
April 22, 2010Edward James “J.C.” Charles Jr., 58, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, April 8, 2010.
Mr. Charles’ hobbies included fishing, shrimping, cooking and carpentry. He retired from Otis Engineering as a wireline specialist.
He is survived by his fiancée, Stephanie Patterson; son, Ramsey Billiot; daughters, Bethany and Lindsey Charles, and Latisha Carson; sisters, Betty (John) Aubert, Patricia Charles, Willie (Roland) Jean, Laura Alexander and Joyce (Lloyd) McKay; and nine grandchildren.
He is buried at Combon Cemetery.
