Eldon “Polly” Paul Robichaux, 79, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died Thursday, January 24, 2008, at 2:48 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Louise Bourg Robichaux of Montegut; three sons, Dave Robichaux and wife, Elaine, Stephen Robichaux and Paul Robichaux and wife, Carla, of Montegut; two daughters, Annette Driskill and husband, Ernie, and Elizabeth Bella and husband, Tory, of Montegut; one brother, Roy Robichaux of Montegut; one sister, June Bergeron of Montegut; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allie Joseph Robichaux and Virginia Marie Songe Robichaux; one brother, Luby Robichaux; and one sister, Patricia Hebert.
Eldon was a retired self-employed trawler and shrimper and a member of the Woodmen of the World for more than 50 years. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 28, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
