Enola Brassette, 85, a native of Houma, La. and resident of Gray, La. died Monday, November 12, 2007, at 2:45 p.m.

She is survived by her son, Lyn Brassette and his wife Sammie; two daughters, Shryel Billiot and her husband Pete and Pamela Brassette; three sisters, Inez Trahan, Ethel Daigle, and Beverly Chauvin; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Pourman Brassette; two brothers, Ollie and Milton Breaux; and four sisters, Louise Porche, Stella Boyne, Noby Foret, and Anna Lee Hebert.

Enola was a devout Christian and a member of First Assembly of God of Houma Church.

Visitation is Thursday, November 15, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. She will be buried in Lakelawn Cemetery in Metairie, La.

Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
